Thank you, Denver Nuggets.

Thank you, George Karl and the Nuggets organization.

I am proud of you guys for leading the city of Denver to a Conference Finals appearance. I am proud that you led a team that has been 4-16 in the playoffs the past four years, to a 10-6 playoff record this year. I am proud that the tatted-up "Thuggets" won 54 regular season games, and beat Chris Paul's Hornets and Dirk Nowitzki's Mavericks (Who made it to the NBA Finals three years ago!). Most of all, I am proud that you took the Lakers to a six-game series, instead of losing the series 4-1 like you have done in the first round the previous four years.

Like the rest of Denver, Colorado, I am disappointed that there is no NBA Champions trophy or Western Conference Champions trophy sitting inside the Pepsi Center. It is better that there were players on the court on May 29th, instead of vacationing like they have in the past. Mr. Karl, I hope you stay around for next year with a Nuggets team that has better chemistry and has matured. Maybe then, we can bring the famous Larry O'Brien Trophy to the Mile High City.

p.s. Sorry that this post wasn't humorous, or a rant. I just wanted to post my appreciation to my favorite basketball team. I promise my next post will be a rant or humorous.
